These are a Few of
Phil's Favorite Things
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
Early in the morning, or perhaps late at night, you might see Phil darting for this place. Especially when they turn on the "Hot Doughnuts Now" sign you're apt to see people flocking in droves to taste a little bit of heaven from this North Carolina original.
Toastmasters International
Got communication skills? Toastmaster International is one of the planet's greatest organizations bettering peoples' speaking and leadership skills.
The Sourwood Inn in Asheville
Perhaps the greatest duality of North Carolina is that it hosts beautiful beaches and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Both places host bed and breakfast inns that exceed expectations and defy descriptions. The Sourwood, right off the scenic and serene Blue Ridge Parkway, happens to be one of Phil and Patty's favorites.
Sudoku Puzzles
These little brain-busters are fun because there's no math involved, and frustrating because they require all the logic one's brain can muster. You got what it takes to fill in the blanks?
Mexican Food
While almost everybody has their own favorite Mexican restaurant, Phil and Patty recommend El Cerro Grande at Monkey Junction. They eat there every Thursday night. It's their "Cheers."
Presidential Biographies
